The Schneider-Kreuznach 250mm f5.6 Tele-Arton (14444770) is a large-format telephoto lens ideally suited to 4×5 cameras. Part of Schneider’s Tele-Arton series, the 250mm f5.6 is known for its good contrast and high resolution. Although it can certainly photograph subjects at infinity, studio photographers particularly appreciate its performance at closer distances. The 250mm f5.6 Tele-Arton has an image circle of 158mm at f22. This provides just enough coverage for 4×5 cameras, but leaves little room for movements. The lens has a 67mm filter thread.

It is sold mounted in a Copal No. 1 (223865) in perfect condition. All shutter speeds are accurate and the aperture blades are clean. Speeds run from 1/400 to one second, plus B and T; there is also an opening control for viewing and focusing.
