It arrived very dirty and sandy, with a substantial fungus infection on several elements. I disassemble it completely and clean everything: a hydrogen-peroxide bath for the glass, and disassembly of the focusing helicoid. This is followed by thorough degreasing with cleaning solvent, careful toothbrush cleaning, fresh grease and reassembly. Despite a few marks on the front element, it is ready to go again.
