Have your film camera tested for free in Marseille
Free film-camera check-ups with Tommy’s Dad Cam and Hosto Photo at OLAB, Marseille, on Saturday 27 June 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00.
Like many film photography enthusiasts, we often use cameras that are already around forty years old. They were built to last, certainly — but for how much longer? Looking after them also means imagining ourselves shooting film for another forty years.
That is why we invite you to have your camera tested free of charge at OLAB in Marseille on Saturday 27 June 2026, and find out how healthy it really is.
On the programme: a free check-up for your film camera using professional measuring equipment. Tommy’s Dad Cam and Hosto Photo will be there to check the essentials: shutter speeds, light meter, consistency, response to a calibrated light source, overall condition and early signs of wear.
We can test all kinds of cameras: 35 mm, TLRs, leaf-shutter cameras and other film companions. If a repair looks necessary, we will also give you a price range free of charge.
So if you have a camera that has been sitting in a cupboard for too long, or simply want to check that your companion is working properly, drop into the shop.
